 GEORGE POGOSOV
George Pogosov is the Co-Head Coach for the Men’s and Women’s fencing teams as well as the Head Coach for the Cardinal Fencing Club. He was the Junior World Champion, six-time World Champion, Olympic Silver Medalist and Olympic Gold Medalist. He has more than 20 years of experience as a fencer and 15 years of experience as a coach. George is the most accomplished athlete who works with fencers on the West Coast.
George has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with a focus in in Fencing. He graduated from National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.
George was the Coach of the Ukrainian National Team before coming to USA. In the US he is working with fencer of all levels. He teaches classes for kids, classes in high school as well as colleges. George teaches all weapons.
A number of George’s students are finalists and champions of various National tournaments. VALERIY NAULO
 Valeriy Naulo has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with a focus in Fencing. Valeriy was in top 5 Ukrainian fencers for 4 years. He graduated from National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine. He worked with Ukrainian National Students Team as well as beginner classes in Stormbringer Sport Club. In US Valeriy worked in various fencing clubs in Valeriy joined Cardinal Fencing Club in 2004. He is also the Assistant Coach for Stanford Men's and Women's fencing team. He teaches Foil and Epee.
SASHA LEPIASHINSKI
Sasha Lepiashinski was 12-time Champion of Belarus and a Finalist in numerous International Tournaments. He graduated from the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Belarus. He has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with the focus in Fencing. Sasha worked in National Olympic Center. He was the first coach of Dmitry Lapkes who is the World Cup Winner, European Champion and an Olympic Finalist.
In US Sasha worked with kids in schools and recreational centers in Los Angeles. He was also a part time coach in various fencing clubs there.
Sasha joined Cardinal Fencing Club in 2005. He teaches all weapons.
